Description
“Kalla – Begin with Flowers” is engaged in upcycling the Pious Temple Offerings (that otherwise would end up in landfills or water bodies) to value-added products by preserving the faith of lakhs of devotees. The team in an attempt of reviving the tradition of using flowers to produce natural and chemical-free products, collects floral waste from temples to make a range of products like gulaal, infused candles, incense sticks, vermicompost and soap bars. They try to do minimum usage of each and every resource available to them either it’s electricity, plastic, etc. They ensure to follow 3’R method of Reuse, Reduce and Recycle.
They use eco-friendly packaging in the form of brown paper or brown paper box to the maximum possible extent without compromising on the quality of product.
Trashure Haat couldn’t stop itself from collaborating with Kalla seeing their commitment towards environment sustainability. Afterall, what could be better than making sure devotion doesn’t turn into pollution.
