ReJean is an initiative towards creating beautiful handcrafted sustainable products from waste/surplus denim.
The fabric waste from factories and mills are non-biodegrade and release harmful pollutants and toxins that end up damaging the environment. ReJean came up with an ingenious solution to this problem – Upcycling. ReJean employs local artisans who put their handcraft skills to instill a new life into the scrap fabric and create something that’s wonderful and of utility. Hence, the “Denim Reborn”. The brand promotes sustainability by packaging the products in cloth bags made out of waste/surplus fabric for delivery.
Indeed their belief matches exactly with that of Trashure Haat – ‘One man’s trash is another man’s treasure’.
Through its ethical and sustainable practices, ReJean is contributing towards Trashure Haat’s mission of reducing waste and making this a better planet.
